IF YOU HAD FOLLOWED THE DIRECTIVE, YOU WOULDN'T BE HERE

If you had followed the directive, you wouldn’t be here is a project that was initiated pre-pandemic, which was postponed for a year due to Covid—19.

Nine tents are arranged on green rugs throughout three rooms of the gallery space which has been painted with a simulation of a generic landscape. Inside each tent, a survival movie is projected onto the walls of the tent, playing on a loop. The movies are Stranded, The Grey, The Edge, Cast Away, Into The Wild, Alive, Everest, Touching the Void, and The Reverent.


Due to Covid-19, the Roger Williams Gallery is closed to the public. staff recorded the exhibition walk-through video below.
