MEMBERS

tectonic industries was formed in Scotland in 1999 where the members met while pursuing their MFA’s in Sculpture at Edinburgh College of Art. Recognising overlaps in ideals and approach to art-making, they had their first collaborative show as part of the Edinburgh International Festival in 2000.

In 2001, they moved from Europe to the United States where they lived until 2012. tectonic industries lived in Auckland, New Zealand until 2014 when they moved back to the US. They are currently based in Portland, Maine, where they live with their three daughters and two recalcitrant pugs.
